Subnet Calc Pro was released onto the App Store last night and I have set the initial price at £2.39 / $3.99. This is the first version and I expect to see how it goes and then I will look at releasing new features over coming versions. Version 1.0 includes very useful features over Subnet Calc such as being able to define hosts inside a subnet which can help to keep track of IP allocations.

I will be releasing a little guide onto this website soon which will show some screenshots to explain some of the features of Subnet Calc Pro

Subnet Calc: v1.2 Release

Version 1.2 of Subnet Calc has been released. You can download it from iTunes – just search for Subnet Calc or if you already have v1.0 installed then you can choose to upgrade.

This version is a minor release to fix a small issue where entering a malformed IP would result in the application crashing. I have also implemented automatic checking of what is entered into the text fields which helps with typos.

Quick Pass v1.0: Now available

Quick Pass v1.0 is now available on the App Store! Quick Pass is an application designed for system administrators who need to be able to quickly generate random passwords. You might use it when creating an account for instance.

Quick Pass was a bit of an experiment for me where I decided to develop and release an app all within one night. It took 2 hours 40 minutes over all and was accepted into the App Store within a few days. It was a fun experiment!

Subnet Calc: v1.1 Released

Version 1.1 of Subnet Calc has been released. You can download it from iTunes – just search for Subnet Calc or if you already have v1.0 installed then you can choose to upgrade.

New features in v1.1 include being able to name a subnet and save it into a table for quick access in the future.

Subnet Calc version 1.0 has finally been released! You can download it through the App Store by searching for ‘Subnet Calc’ or using the direct link. Please could you review the app if you decide to try it out – I’d like to get lots of feedback on it if possible.

I’ve already got version 1.1 ready for release, but I’ll hold back on it for a week or so.
