The format is in an integer representation of the IP and the rest is self explanatory. If you email me your file I can explain more and convert it to whatever you want. My email is matt at galloway dot me dot uk.

@Delio – Ah ha, I see. iTunes restore worked for me. Did you upgrade iTunes to the latest? Perhaps you should file a bug report with Apple for your problem?

@Delio – Unfortunately there’s no way to do this currently. I’m trying to add this feature though.

Although, if you upgraded then you shouldn’t have lost any of your data. You’ll only lose the data if you delete the app and reinstall it.

@James – many apologies for not releasing an update more recently. My plan is (now that the iPad is coming along) to make a new version of Subnet Calc Pro which has these features:

a) Fix all the niggling bugs people have commented on.
b) Synchronise with a web service where your data can be (optionally) stored.
c) Work on both iPhone and iPad.

Please feel free to comment with any other feature requests that you can think of and I’ll aim to get them into the new release.

As for special characters in the host names – I can potentially do this sooner. What characters would you like to see in there?

I noticed someone has already commented about using special characters in the host names. How far along is that? Of course I am using Pro v1.2.
